General aspects of anti-angiogenesis and cancer therapy.

摘要: Angiogenesis is the outgrowth of new vessels from pre-existing ones. Tumour growth and metastasis dependent on angiogenesis many stimulatory inhibitory factors have been described which play an active role in this process. Inhibition tumour neovasculature may be one strategy to inhibit growth. Naturally occurring inhibitors discovered synthetic agents designed. Many these are currently being evaluated clinical trials for treatment cancer. This review discusses mechanism action anti-angiogenics as well a description they evaluated.
