摘要: Abstract Firstly described in 1992, the receptor for advanced glycation end-products has attracted increasing attention due to its diverse ligand repertoire and involvement several pathophysiological processes associated with inflammation such as diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases neurodegenerative diseases. This addition binding capacity also recognizes some molecules classified both, pathogen- damage-associated molecular patterns thus triggering transcription of genes encoding inflammatory mediators. Some these ligands are common members Toll-like family, generating shared signaling cascades. Furthermore, receptors may cooperate essential partners through recruitment assembly homo- hetero-oligomers order strengthen response. The purpose this review is highlight importance particular features multiligand receptor, cascade well cross-talk family.
