摘要: Chitin was converted into diacetylchitin and also various kinds of acetylchitins. A fully acetylated chitin prepared by the acetylation in acetic anhydride—methanesulfonic acid mixture at 0°C overnight, or anhydride—perchloric for 3 h. Variously chitins were similar procedures applying a calculated amount anhydride glacial acid. The reaction alkaline with gave 0.3 acetylchitin (0.3 mol –OH groups are per one N-acetylglucosamine residue), heating this anhydrous sodium acetate produced ca 1.1 acetylchitin. However, it difficult to further improve degree method. resulted an increase solubility formic acid, easily soluble even 85-% aqueous analytical data showed that residue exists as stable hemihydrate unless is completely acetylated. Infrared absorption spectra acetylchitins investigated.
