摘要: Prions can be amplified by serial protein misfolding cyclic amplification (sPMCA) from the milk of a high proportion apparently healthy, scrapie exposed sheep with PRNP genotypes not previously associated disease penetrance1. These data strongly suggest widespread presence subclinical infections within scrapie-exposed flocks containing range susceptible genotypes. also lead to hypothesis that similar states may common for other animal and human prion diseases. Furthermore, application sPMCA provides method detect such disease. Here, we describe level bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) prions both ovine origin, methodology will facilitate detection any secreted during clinical BSE
