摘要: Expert systems (ES) are a branch of applied artificial intelligence. The basic idea behind ES is simply that expertise, which the vast body task-specific knowledge, transferred from human to computer. provide powerful and flexible means for obtaining solutions variety problems often cannot be dealt with by other, more traditional orthodox methods. Thus, their use proliferating many sectors our social technological life, where applications proving critical in process decision support problem solving. Earthquake professionals decades have recognized benefits society reliable earthquake predictions, but uncertainties regarding source initiation, rupture phenomena, accuracy both timing magnitude occurrence times seemed either very difficult or impossible overcome. This research proposes implements an expert system predict earthquakes previous data. achieved applying association rule mining on data 1972 2013. These associations polished using predicate-logic techniques draw stimulating production-rules used rule-based system. proposed was able all actually occurred within 12h at-most.
