摘要: A 1.94 μm switchable dual-wavelength Tm3+ fiber laser employing two high-birefringence Bragg gratings (HB-FBGs) is demonstrated. The polarization hole burning effect enhanced by the HB-FBG first observed and adopted to guarantee stable operation in spectral region near 2 μm at room temperature. wavelength spacing between dual lasing wavelengths 0.81 nm. states of dual-output lasers are orthogonal. By adjusting a controller, single-wavelength mode operating one can be selected. side-mode-suppression ratio each greater than 60 dB. power fluctuation measurement both shows that this has good stability.
