摘要: Among the factors that can help to diminish and control populations of Varroa destructor in colonies Apis mellifera is grooming behaviour. This behaviour consists capacity bee detect, bite eliminate parasites phoretic stage. In this investigation we evaluated presence behavior through observations damaged mites. For used six A. Langstroth type beehives, which were daily for 30 days April May 2008. The samples consisted mite fall onto metal sheets coated with vaseline, placed floor each beehive a period 24 hours. results showed 95% fallen mites dead 5% alive out total 2005 We found 49% damage 51% without damage. Based on these observations, it may be possible choose significant such as dorsal complete damage, very useful study selection design strategies integrated management V. destructor.
