摘要: Interpersonal sensitivity, particularly threat of potential exclusion, is a critical condition in borderline personality disorder (BPD) which impairs patients' social adjustment. Current evidence-based treatments include group components, such as mentalization-based therapy (MBT-G), order to improve interpersonal functioning. These additionally focus on the therapeutic alliance since it was discovered be robust predictor treatment outcome. However, multidimensional factor therapy, includes fellow patients, and may thus negatively affected by exclusion-proneness BPD patients. The aim this pilot study examine predictive value exclusion for MBT-G. In first part study, experimentally induced 23 inpatients 28 healthy subjects using Cyberball paradigm, virtual ball tossing game. evoked level measured with Need-Threat Scale (NTS) captures four dimensions fundamental human needs, i.e., need belongingness, self-esteem, control, meaningful existence. second three dimensions, therapists, patients whole, Group-Questionnaire (GQ-D). scored higher their according NTS both, inclusion condition. after predicted impairments It associated more negative relationships, lower positive bonding working whole whilst no prediction therapists found. Consequently, our translational design has shown that an appropriate tool use approach clinical questions. We further conclude feature respect treatments. neutralize bias, advised provide "inclusive stance," especially initial sessions. also recommendable strengthen patient relations.
