摘要: The integration of the family and business worlds provides firms with competitively unique capabilities. However, elements entrenchment, strategic conservatism, social pluralism, have become evident in many family-based organisations. importance of balance cultural aspects is therefore critical achieving sustainable performance, particular note being role organisational knowledge, facilitated by intra-organisational knowledge-sharing. aim this study to understand effects of path-goal leadership styles on intra-organisational knowledge-sharing small firms in Scotland. This work rooted relativist research paradigm results a cultural picture internal knowledge management practices, considering themes or patterns of leadership influence. A triangulation mixed-methods design used, type in which different but complementary data are collected. In study, survey quantitative instruments (n = 109) test relationships between behavioural variables style, familial influence, knowledge-sharing, performance variable organisational efficacy. Concurrent analysis, qualitative interview 26) explore the phenomenon social pluralism multiple stakeholder perspectives existing within small family firms.
