摘要: Abstract This study highlights the changes in hydrologic responses to urbanization under idealized spatial heterogeneity rainfall distribution. The builds off recent assessments which show that urban areas modify pattern its vicinity. Numerical experiments were conducted over an watershed by prescribing different patterns of and impervious coverage. Hydrologic characterized four metrics: flow distribution, daily variation, frequency floods, interannual runoff variability, as well relative flood magnitudes scenarios. Results indicate hydrological response depends on both extent coverage rainfall. most noticeable variations occur when is moderately urbanized (with 20–30% watershed). A factor separation scheme was employed determine synergistic effect land surface magnitudes. Increases induced could be underestimated much 50% if are ignored. need for considering meteorological feedback while examining with considered.
