摘要: Four porous carbon samples with very similar porosities but visible differences in their surface chemistry are investigated as supercapacitor electrodes 1M H2SO4 and 3M NaCl. The key objective is to monitor the changes oxygen- nitrogen-containing functionalities nitrogen+oxygen-rich carbons upon a three-electrode test effect of these on energy storage capacity real two-electrode setup. thoroughly characterized by nitrogen sorption measurements, Raman spectroscopy, potentiometric titrations, elemental analysis, synchrotron XPS. findings presented this work imply that pretreatment under conditions an acidic electrolyte beneficial overall pores become more accessible ions contribution pseudocapacitive oxygen-containing groups increases oxygen-rich carbons, whereas favorable electronic structure take place carbons. Thus, total capacitance result improved double-layer well pseudocapacitance. Greater after also measured neutral for both sets samples, which removal some functional leads better accessibility pores.
