摘要: In this research note we examine the biomedical publication output about Ebola in 2014. We show that volume of publications has dramatically increased past year. In 2014 there have been over 888 with ‘ebola’ or ‘ebolavirus’ title, approximately 13 times 2013. The rise reflects an impressive growth starting month August, concomitant following surge infections, deaths and coverage news social media. Though non-research articles major contributors to growth, a substantial increase original too, including many papers basic science. The United States country highest number articles, followed by Canada Kingdom. present comprehensive set charts facts that, describing volumes nature 2014, how scientific community responded outbreak it might respond future similar global threats media events. This information will assist scholars policymakers their efforts improve policies goal maximizing both public health knowledge advancement.
