摘要: Abstract Nonlinear probability distributions for Morison-type wave loading can be used to derive statistical properties (measures) of the extreme responses quasi-statically responding members offshore structures. The value statistics described, example, in terms quantiles (i.e. values with a constant exceedance), mode or mean value. For Morison's equation, departure from linearity quantified drag-inertia parameter, which is function both member hydrodynamic and sea state. In general, exact evaluation only accomplished numerically. However, by investigating asymptotic behaviour distributions, simple formulae derived estimating response as number peaks exceedance.
