摘要: The lithium-ion battery technology as the today’s best available is a key in accompanying vehicles electrification. Its end-of-life recovery lever overcoming technical challenges towards electromobility deployment, such cost, environmental impact, availability of constituent materials and mandatory recycling rate. In this chapter, we focus on economic aspects, order to assess impact: analyze cost evolution batteries determine whether it will be source or profit for car manufacturers. We define two options: one hand, simply which by regulation and, other repurposing reuse many second life applications (from residence related energy storage grid stabilization). To account complexity long-term horizon our study (2030), combine use System Dynamics with Stanford Research Institute Matrix building scenarios that mix relevant factors electric vehicle market proportion reuse. Finally show could lower battery’s initial cost—under certain conditions regarding future price cost—where might increase it.
