摘要: The absence of laboratory tests and clear criteria to identify homogeneous (sub)groups in patients presenting with unexplained fatigue, assess clinical status disability these patients, calls for further assessment methods. In the present study, a multi-dimensional approach chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is evaluated. Two-hundred ninety-eight CFS completed set postal questionnaires that assessed behavioural, emotional, social, cognitive aspects CFS. By means statistical analyses nine relatively independent dimensions were identified along which CFS-assessment CFS-research can be directed. These named: psychological well-being, functional impairment daily life, sleep disturbances, avoidance physical activity, neuropsychological impairment, causal attributions related complaints, social functioning, self-efficacy expectations, subjective experience personal situation.
