摘要: Nearly two decades after the first successful endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), steady advancements in device technology, deployment techniques, and imaging capabilities have allowed this treatment modality to replace traditional open as of choice for patients undergoing elective abdominal aneurysm (AAA) repair. EVAR now accounts greater than half all AAA repairs; however, certain challenges remain including anatomic limitations graft durability. These are being addressed with new technology modalities.
