摘要: Plasticity constitutes the basis of behavioral changes as a result experience. It refers to neural network shaping and re-shaping at global level synaptic contacts remodeling local level, either during learning or memory encoding, acute chronic pathological conditions. 'Plastic' brain reorganization after central nervous system lesions has pivotal role in recovery rehabilitation sensory motor dysfunction, but can also be "maladaptive". Moreover, it is clear that not "static" phenomenon rather very dynamic process. Spinal cord injury immediately initiates change state starts cortical reorganization. In long term, impact - with without accompanying therapy on complex balance between supraspinal spinal recovery. The degree highly variable, range from no (i.e. "silencing") massive remapping. This variability critically depends species, age animal when occurs, time occurred, activity possible regimes injury. We will briefly discuss these dependencies, trying highlight their translational value. Overall, only necessary better understand how reorganize therapy, clarify why "good" "bad" terms its clinical consequences. information critical order develop optimize cost-effective therapies maximize functional while minimizing maladaptive states
