摘要: Treatment of hamster lungs with porcine pancreatic elastase (PPE) causes emphysema and a decrease in lung elastin content, which returns to control level by Day 30. To explore the mechanism alveolar wall remodeling after elastolytic injury, we examined expression α1(I) collagen mRNAs situ hybridization at 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 30 d intratracheal PPE. The animals displayed weak signals for mRNA pleura, large arteries, veins, airways. There was little or no signal respiratory air space walls. Increased began 1 PPE reached an asymptote 3 that maintained until 7; waned earlier.
