摘要: This paper presents recent work in utilising industrial by-products as sustainable binders for use deep soil mixing, to enhance the geotechnical properties of soft soils. The study has used and mineralogical tests determine performance when incorporated into an artificial silty sand soil. Comparisons with strength durability untreated stabilised soils have been made. indicates that from tested, alkali activated blast furnace slag resulted greatest improvements; other materials tested showing smaller improvements. addition activators observed allow pozzolanic reactions occur, which led improved mechanical properties; primarily strength, increased time. was by additions by-products, though activation did not cause significant additional increase durability.
