摘要: Wood used outdoors needs protection against physical and biological factors. Solvent-borne the more recently developed water-borne coatings with low fungicide content need thorough testing for their blue stain resistance. Especially, systems have been brought into focus due to environmental-friendly profile. Conventional tests like European Standard EN 152 use a subjective rating scale assessment. On one hand, such gives value of depreciation surface degraded by fungi, on other estimation is fungal disfigurement makes comparison difficult. For this reason techniques sought tested usefulness in assessment quantification interior discolouration coated wood. Different image-processing algorithms, as neural networks, are compared. Furthermore, three-dimensional reconstruction development wood explored tool in-depth analysis growth substrate.
