摘要: Intraperitoneal (IP) delivery of chemotherapy has been demonstrated to improve the survival women diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer (including primary peritoneal and fallopian tube cancers) (Alberts et al. (1996) N Engl J Med 335(26):1950–1955; Armstrong (2006) 354(1):34–43; Markman a. (1998) Clin Oncol 16(8):2620–2624; Walker Gynecol 100(1):27–32). The immediate placement a catheter at time surgical resection is ideal (Walker Delayed acceptable for increased risk complications, or an uncertain diagnosis stage 103(3):783–792; 24(6):988–994).
