Acoustic Emission Source Location in Anisotropic Composite Plates

摘要: This work describes a method by which pointlike source of acoustic emission can be located in plate composite material. The is applicable to an anisotropic material arbitrary symmetry as long the principal axes well all set elastic constants are known priori. A rigorous analytical solution for general 3-D location problem use solely basic principles described. double-iterative algorithm, implemented solve numerically such problem, working both with simulated and experimental data. Numerical results demonstrating effectiveness robustness numerical shown on 2-D versions algorithm. Some obtained unidirectional fiberglass/isophthalic polyester resin unambiguously show that locations properly recovered.
