摘要: Pollution by heavy metals is at present one of the major environmental concerns. In study, potential filamentous zygomycete fungus Rhizopus sp. to absorb/adsorb metal ions from solution was investigated. With aim develop a feasible process, immobilized on 10 different textile materials during cultivation. All biosorbents reduced Cu2+ concentrations initially 20 3.1–5.6 mg/l within 150 min, with exception biomass wool, which level 10.2 mg/l. The (with wool) fitted well into pseudo-second-order model. uptake copper showed slight dependence initial concentration. By reapplying containing low concentration after going through first step biosorption, decrease below 2 accomplished, meeting stipulated for in human drinking water. Immobilization fungal cushion also successfully applied biosorption process. positive results obtained two-step indicate that sequential arrangement could be foundation commercial product.
