摘要: Ethernet protocol is the most wide-spread in local area network (LAN) environment. It cost effective, simple, and provides high speeds, exactly what needed provider network. However, deployment imposes carrier-grade requirements. Standardization bodies realized this, they are extending its capabilities: QoS support traffic management by 802.1Q virtual LANs (VLANs), engineering 802.1s multiple spanning tree (MSTP), administration issues 802.1 ag connectivity fault (CFM). with extensions started to lose an important property: simplicity. Often topology of aggregation tree-like, so complex protocols like MSTP not required even when resilience supported adding several links. In cases plain rapid (RSTP) can provide necessary restoration loop protection capability. default settings RSTP may optimal utilization, it difficult predict behavior after a failure. this paper we present tool for optimization, which engineers best utilization while also ensures that paths will be selected link The result optimization port set all bridge interfaces. performed off-line using integer linear program (ILP). We show compared higher throughput achieved, bandwidth guaranteed case any
