摘要: Canavalia ensiformis (L.) DC commonly known as jackbean is a legume native to Central and South America from Mexico south Brazil Peru, the West Indies (Duke 1981). The earliest record of its existence about 900 a.d., Oaxaca in central (Sauer Kaplan 1969). It cultivated on small scale throughout tropics, but relatively little economic importance world trade (Smartt 1985).
