摘要: It is estimated that the failure rate of small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in South Africa between70% 80%. As a result, millions Rands are being loston business ventures because essentially avoidable mistakes problems. Difficulties encountered by small businesses can be described as environmental, marketing,financial, or managerial nature. The primary objective this study was to establish what extent businesses, three major African metropolitan regions, experience problems typically associated with businesses. Further this, aim investigate whether relationships exist between identified problems, success, selected demographic variables. Judgmental sampling used solicit responses 1 038 Nelson Mandela, Cape Town, Egoli metropoles. Problems influence success participating survey were numerous. Those macro-environmental nature regarded most influential, followed functional area marketing.
