摘要: Dam-induced hydrological alterations and related ecological problems have been arousing considerable concern from hydrologists, ecologists, policy-makers. The East River basin in China is the major provider of water resources for mega-cities within Pearl Delta meets 80% annual demand Hong Kong. In this study, ecodeficit ecosurplus were analyzed to determine impact impoundments. Also, Do DHRAM employed evaluate degree alteration regimes, ERHIs influence on diversity. Results indicate that: (1) magnitude frequency high flows decrease those low increase due regulation reservoirs; (2) variations are mainly result precipitation changes significantly influenced by reservoirs. However, other seasons, particularly autumn winter, more reservoir regulation; (3) impacts reservoirs regimes eco-flow different one station another degrees processes at stations. longer distance between a is, weaker has processes; (4) can be accepted evaluation seasonal time scales. Shannon Index decreasing biological diversity after construction reservoirs, implying negative river should arouse human concerns. This study provides theoretical background management with consideration highly-regulated basins globe.
