摘要: This work was conducted to study the patterns of morphological differences in body shape Squalius turcicus De Filippi, 1865 from most east (Atrak River) west (Aras populations southern Caspian Sea basin using landmark-based geometric morphometric method understand how the alters relation geographical alternations or environmental characters their habitats. A total 102 specimens were collected Aras, Tajan, Atrak, Ghareh-Su, Khyer and Sefid rivers after anesthesia, left faces photographed. To extract data, 14 homologous landmark-points digitized data generalized procrustes analysis, analysed principal component canonical variate cluster Mantel test. The results showed significant between six studied populations, mostly related snout, base dorsal anal-fins, depth pectoral fin position as result phenotypic plasticity features Tajan Atrak have a higher lower depth, Kheyr population a longer snout.
