摘要: This study proposes an empirical methodology for modelling and mapping the air temperature (mean maximum, mean minimum) total precipitation, all of which are monthly annual, using geographical information systems (GIS) techniques. The method can be seen as alternative to classical interpolation techniques when spatial is available. area used develop apply this model Catalonia (32000 km 2 , northeast Spain). We have developed a multiple regression analysis between these meteorological variables dependent ones, some (altitude (ALT), latitude (LAT), continentality (CON), solar radiation (RAD) cloudiness factor (CLO)) independent ones. Data were obtained from stations, data elaborated 180 m resolution digital elevation (DEM). Multiple coefficients (bn) build final maps, layers each variable, applying basic GIS results very satisfactory in case minimum temperature, with determination (R ) 0.79 0.97, depending on month; maximum R ranges 0.70 0.89, while it 0.60 0.91.
