摘要: Asymptomatic primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) and the new variant of PHPT, normocalcemic are considered by many physicians as mild, innocuous forms disease, requiring nothing more than monitoring. Although this may be true in some cases which disease does not progress or cause complications, deterioration with less severe manifestations occur. In present review, we discuss existing evidence both classic (skeletal renal) non-classic (cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, psychiatric) features that have been attributed to asymptomatic PHPT treatment effect on them.
