摘要: This paper presents the results of modal analysis an index guiding soft glass photonic crystal fiber infiltrated with a nematic liquid (NLC-PCF). The is carried out using full vectorial finite difference method which capable dealing accurately anisotropic waveguide problems. analyzed parameters are effective index, birefringence, dispersion, mode area, and confinement losses for two fundamental polarized modes. effects structure geometrical parameters, rotation angle director NLC temperature on properties investigated. numerical reveal that proposed design offers high birefringence 0.012 at operating wavelength 1.55 mum low In addition, tailored to obtain flat dispersion over wide range wavelengths birefringence.
