摘要: Objective In the assessment of speech intelligibility, procedures that are easy to use, but also valid and reliable, needed. The aim this study was explore reliability concurrent validity two scaling methods for assessing intelligibility children with impaired hearing. Material Methods A total 51 aged 4–17 years a mild profound hearing impairment performed naming task comprising 62 single words. Altogether, 85 inexperienced listeners, divided into 17 panels, assessed production children. percent correct score (for identification words) obtained from every listener. listeners were asked judge overall each child using visual analogue scale (VAS) four-point ordinal level rating verbal descriptors.
