摘要: (1) The influence of soil moisture and temperature on respiration beneath an eighteen-year-old Pinus radiata stand in south-eastern Australia were examined. Soil was measured by a soda-lime absorption technique, measurements being conducted at fourteen-day intervals over 262-day period. (2) followed seasonal pattern with maximum (0.89 g CO2 m-2 h1) value occurring during period high temperature; minimum (0.23 h-1) associated low availability (when independent temperature). (3) Two models, GRESP BRESP (which use to predict respiration), showed poor fit (r2 = 009 0 15, respectively), both models overestimating levels. This occurred because the Qlo quotient had fixed models. In effort improve between modelled model modified inclusion dependent term, producing new model: FRESP. gave excellent (r2=0 85) its moisture-dependent term. (4) It is concluded that under conditions availability, strongly moisture-dependent. To successfully dry term required.
