Structure and propagation of turbulent premixed flames astabilized in a stagnation flow

摘要: Turbulence statistics in premixed methane/air flames stabilized by a stagnation plate have been measured using the two-component laser Doppler velocimetry technique. Experimental conditions cover equivalence ratios of 0.67 to 1.16, incident turbulence intensities 0.1 0.7 m/s, and global stretch rates 100 230 sec−1. Results on show that crossing flame increase fluctuation is more pronounced normal component while Reynolds stress remains almost zero, velocity joint probability density function bimodal for rich mono-modal lean flames. It also demonstrated present configuration can be usefully applied determination, turbulent speed ST. Values ST determined as functions ratio intensity agree well with those literture. suggested offers potential viable study planar, uncomplicated fluctuations generated stabilization regions associated conventional conical Bunsen V-flames
