摘要: Objective: A suspicion that disability payments may exacerbate substance use among persons with chemical addictions recently led Congress to limit federal entitlements of applicants whose status is related abuse, even if they have another serious mental disorder. This study empirically explored the relationship between receipt and homeless mentally ill veterans. Methods: The sample included 2,474 veterans a current diagnosis schizophrenia abuse or dependence disorder who were assessed in community outreach program sponsored by Department Veterans Affairs. Results: After adjustment for other relevant factors, showed no significant number days month, frequent users alcohol drugs. Conclusions: Findings about disorders this provide support assertion use.
