摘要: Experimental and numerical investigations were conducted to identify the wake characteristics downstream of two vanetype vortex generators over laminar flat plate boundary layer. study was carried out by using stereoscopic particle image velocimetry. To describe flow field around generator in detail, performed. We considered different planform shapes generator: triangular rectangular shape. The height chosen be about layer thickness at position its installation. Two lengths chosen: five times height. Wake measurements three angles attack for each configuration. case such as overall vortical structure, vorticity distribution, location center with distance obtained from PIV data. characteristics, expected, found vary strongly geometry angle so that no general tendency could deduced.
