摘要: A mechanical heart valve prosthesis has a generally rectangular orifice and two leaflets that move between closed position nearly perpendicular to blood flow an open parallel flow. Due the uniform dimension of rectangle, are hinged at periphery orifice, present single large central region when opened. The base provides several means constraining leaflet rotation during opening closing.
