摘要: Oil residues are removed from contaminated solids, in particular cuttings produced drilling a borehole using an oil-based fluid, by contacting the solids with washing fluid which comprises carbon dioxide and cosolvent under conditions at is supercritical solution then separating washed fluid; wherein least 5% volume of one or more organic compounds Hildebrand solubility parameter range 16 to 21 MPa1/2. The process may be applied offshore.
