Throughput in multiple service, multiple resource communication networks

摘要: Communication networks that integrate multiple services using resources are considered. In particular, the authors pose resource allocation problems, present a sensitivity analysis, and provide glimpse of possible behavior such networks. The simplest discipline is assumed: service request accepted if necessary available; otherwise it rejected. Two results obtained. first gives throughput requests type i with respect to offered traffic rates j. second result set vectors achievable convex polyhedron given by an explicit linear inequalities. >
