摘要: To assess soil and groundwater quality two generic (i.e. multifunctional) risk-based standards, Target Intervention Value, have been developed, in the framework of Dutch Soil Protection Act. These standards allow to be classified as clean, slightly contaminated or seriously contaminated. The Value is based on potential risks ecosystems, while humans ecosystems. In case serious contamination site has, principle, remediated, making it necessary determine remediation urgency basis actual site-specific) ecosystems and, besides, due contaminant migration.
