摘要: Abstract The Butterworth form of correlation for holdup in two-phase gas-liquid flow is justified theoretically certain conditions. In addition, a wide range experimental data were used to show that may be broadly classified into three major groups based on the pattern, and different relationships found represent each group. Thus slug plug flow, given by Armand type equation; stratified theoretical equations which are derived while annular satisfactorily represented semi-empirical correlation.
