摘要: During aluminium extrusion, the die experience cyclic thermo-mechanical loads that can lead to materials degradation and failure. For a process optimization comparison of different hot work tool steels, finite element method is an appropriate means. Local inelastic strains result from interaction applied temperature stress loading be computed by suitable constitutive equations. Stress amplitudes dwell times during extrusion in creep-fatigue damage. A lifetime consumption model sums increments damage variable over time defines failure as accumulation resulting critical value. The procedure for identification material parameters both described detail, including description time-effects, steel Bohler W300 ISOBLOC (EN 1.2343). two steels compared on basis example extrusion.
