Experimental distal subluxation in the glenohumeral joint

摘要: In an experimental set-up including ten shoulder specimens, increments in the acromiohumeral distance (the subacromial space) were measured on X-ray radioscope after vertical stabilizing structures of glenohumeral joint had been cut. It was found that when only supraspinatus tendons cut, space increased by a few millimeters. When first coracohumeral ligament and then proximal one-third anterior capsule doubled each case. Distal subluxation did not occur also more than doubled. is concluded most important pathogenesis distal are part capsule.
