摘要: Abstract A flow-injection method was applied to on-line analysis for ammonia in industrial liquid effluents. The utilised the diffusion of gaseous from an alkaline sample stream, through a microporous membrane, into bromothymol blue indicator with resulting colour change measured photometrically using red LED. Following initial development work, adapted automated, portable system, which capable linear response range 1–100 mg 1 −1 NH 3 -N. flow injection monitor powered by external 12 V battery, and performed two-point self-calibration during each analytical cycle. unattended, continuous monitoring effluent streams at two sites over several days. results obtained were good agreement those produced indophenol laboratory reference method.
