PCA-based home videos annotation system

摘要: This paper presents a semi-automatic home videos annotation system that searches into video contents and retrieves shots for specific person. The proposed is composed of four phases; namely (a) shot detection phase, (b) face recognition phase using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) feature extraction algorithm based on Haar-like features, (c) clustering (d) retrieval phase. simple provides user-friendly interface. It greatly reduces workload enhances accuracy annotating persons faces in videos.
