摘要: The treatment of a complex pharmaceutical effluent using combination ozonation and biological is reported with the use as pre- posttreatment. Pretreatment facilitated biodegradability index (BI = BOD/COD) enhancement up to 0.44 along COD color reduction 42% 33%, respectively. Subsequent anaerobic biodegradation indicated negligible biogas generation; however, aerobic pretreated resulted in (73%) (62%), which was also by biokinetic parameters. Further, posttreatment led higher overall (87%) (93%) removal.
