摘要: This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of marjoram water extract as an alternative antibiotic growth promoter on immunity and serum lipids profile broiler chicks. One hundred ninety two day-old chicks were divided randomly into four treatment groups included: control, (Flavophospholipol) at levels 0.5 1% in drinking water. Antibody titer against Newcastle Avian Influenza (H9 N2) viruses 21 d (14 post immunization), SRBC 36 (6 heterophil lymphocyte ratio albumin globulin 42 measured. Serum concentration triglyceride, cholesterol, LDL HDL cholesterol determined d. Results showed that higher antibody production attributed 0.5% (P<0.05). virus, not affected significantly by treatments. Experimental treatments had LDL-cholesterol but HDL-cholesterol decreased control group These results suggest addition level seemed have a positive immune responses, could be considered natural potential enhancer for
