摘要: ABSTRACTThe current study is intended to examine how mass media, especially TV news transcripts, have framed the Paralympic games and athletes with disabilities in their coverage of these events. A total 283 United States transcripts broadcasts covering events held during 25-year period between 1988 2012 were analysed terms three aspects framing: (a) types issues covered, (b) sources information cited, (c) manner which either episodic or thematic stories employed.
