Modulation of the polarization state of light using a weak anisotropic thin film

摘要: The polarization state of light is modulated by an anisotropic thin film. An MgF2 film deposited onto a plate that put in contact with BK7 prism to form prism/film/air configuration. It shown the reflected can be easily from linear circular rotating thin-film plate.
