摘要: SUMMARY Chemical-looping ethanol reforming with carbon dioxide capture is proposed. It combines chemical-looping and for pure hydrogen generation from inherent separation of dioxide. A thermal analysis the process using NiO oxygen carrier performed by simulating reactions Gibbs energy minimization method. The promising systems are investigated further respect to temperature, NiO/C2H5OH molar ratio, CaO/C2H5OH ratio pressure changes as well possible formation in reformer. Favorable operation conditions presence CaO are: pressures around 3 atm, reactor temperatures 850 K, ratio = 3 CaO/C2H5OH = 3. H2 yield efficiency addition higher than that without addition, showing a CO2 sorbent increases production. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
